The National Police Horse Colloquium is hosted annually by the Lexington Police Department and the Kentucky Horse Park. Asbury horses have ridden in exhibition class at the Colloquium since 2003. Sessions have been taught by the London Mounted Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the following topics: riding flatwork, jumping, crowd control, and defensive tactics from horseback. Our horses and their trainers participate in these training sessions and then compete in exhibition class with the team obstacle course, equitation, and obstacle course challenge. October 2011 our horses took part in the training sessions.
